GENE SCHLOSSER, Event Manager - University of Colorado at Boulder

Mr. Schlosser moved to Thornton, Colorado from Flint, Michigan when he was just eleven, and graduated locally from Thornton High School. In 1998 he started working in the Event Staffing Industry at McNichols Sports Arena and Red Rocks Amphitheatre as a staff member, and in 2000 began working with Argus Event Staffing as the same. Mr. Schlosser became a supervisor at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in 2000, and a “Lead” Supervisor at the Pepsi Center shortly after the NHL All-Star Game in 2001. In addition, Mr. Schlosser has been involved with many other events including the Grand Prix of Denver in 2002 and 2005, Kinetics in 2001, 2002 and 2005, and has worked at other venues as diverse as the Colorado Convention Center, Crescent Amphitheatre and University of Colorado. He has also worked security within the Denver Broncos Organization, University of Colorado at Denver and a National Historic Landmark Resort Hotel in St. Petersburg, FL.

Mr. Schlosser is currently in charge of managing staff at the Denver Performing Arts Complex (DPAC), which includes Boettcher Concert Hall, the Ellie Caulkins Opera House and the Temple Buell Theatre. Additionally, Mr. Schlosser is an Event Manager at Broomfield Event Center and the University of Colorado at Boulder.
